2 Timothy 2:22 ESV "So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart."

True M.O.C.H.A, or True Missionaries of Christ Have Arrived is a ministry that was designed to equip girls to be-  missionaries of Christ! What does that mean? Some may ask... Let's keep reading!

According to the dictionary, a Missionary is a person sent on a religious mission, esp. one sent to promote Christianity in a foreign country. We serve a God that loves to heal and send His word to people so He gives us missions to produce His will! Some of us have specific missions, like helping our neighbors, visiting and praying for the sick, buying families without money food, telling our friends about Jesus, and obeying our parents and teachers.  Although we all have many different missions and callings from God, we have to learn the basics concerning how to be a True Missionary of Christ....

  • Love❤︎
We ALL are called to love one another! This is what we all need to establish in our hearts to be true, effective missionaries. Here at True M.O.C.H.A, we will be learning how to love one another by examining love in The Bible - how to genuinely love our family, friends, enemies, neighbors, and peers. If we as Christians, messengers and missionaries of God, don't display love- how can we properly show the world who Jesus is?

  • Servanthood❤︎☺︎

There are many people in The Bible that were called to be servants and a lot of those people, in God's timing became leaders and grew to have their own servants. According to the dictionary, a servant is defined as a person who performs duties for others and a devoted and helpful follower or supporter- example: a timeless servant of God ☺︎

1 Peter 4:10-11 ESV "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."
This scripture is one that talks about serving. When we serve one another, we glorify God by our actions. What this scripture is telling us is to use the gifts that God has given us to serve others so that He may be glorified. If you are good at painting, find ways to serve others with that. If you are good at writing, position yourself to hear from God concerning how to serve others with that gift! If you have noticed that God uses you to give people advice or to usher in His comfort, ask Him if there's anybody He needs you to encourage or talk to. In the body of Christ, God gives us many gifts so that we all can work together using these gifts to glorify Him and Him alone! As we are equipping ourselves to be missionaries, we have to remember to serve God and His people. Sometimes we will be in very uncomfortable, and even undesirable situations. But if we have the heart of a servant and a heart to love God's people, surely we can do what God needs us to do! As we wait, we must pray for these things to come into our hearts.

  • Listening👂
God speaks in many different ways! Thru dreams, people, His word (The Bible), and thru The Holy Spirit! We have to make ourselves available to hear from God to clearly know what mission He is giving us. We can do this by praying and telling Him that we are available for Him to use us, keeping our notepad apps open on our phones or keeping a journal, and making our social media accounts available for Him. You might be surprised what God does!!! Like what happened to me in 2013... ☺︎

Hi everyone, my name is Tiffany and I am so proud to introduce True M.O.C.H.A. to you all! Last year, God spoke to my mom and told her about the encouragement and self esteem girls needed. As my mom was in her closet hanging up clothes, she began to talk to me about True M.O.C.H.A. At the time, it was just an idea, but later- as you can probably tell- it evolved. The vision was birthed while I was praying. I was talking to God about my excessive, purposeless use of Instagram and then I began to think "but what if I used Instagram to encourage other girls and boost their self esteem" and that's when God brought True M.O.C.H.A. to my remembrance. I was listening to the song "No Limits" by Israel and The New Breed, and then things began to flow- God made them flow. It's really interesting how talking to God, even about something as silly as Instagram, can open the door to creating a ministry for girls.
What ideas and/or Ministries has God given to you? What are YOU waiting for???? Let's go!

Looking for ways to bring others to God?

  • Give blogging a try!
You can blog about how you came to God, how others can come to Him, or mix it up and write advice-based blogs.
  • Post what God wants to tell His people on your social media accounts.
Set aside quiet time each day and try to hear from God. If you can't hear His voice, read His word and wait until you find something that you know His people could benefit from. Lastly, scroll down your timeline! If you see 3 girls talking about how depressed they are- post scriptures on depression! Just make yourself available to God and remember that Jesus came to heal the sick. Don't be afraid to let people who aren't Christians follow you because you could be the person that God uses to draw them to Him.
Jeremiah 31:3 NIV "The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." If we are to show the world who God is, who are to do what He does! If God draws us with unfailing kindness, we are to show others in the best way we can- unfailing kindness.
  • Reach out to lost people in the comments on youtube!
On a lot of my favorite songs on youtube, I often see people commenting how they don't believe in God or how they need prayer. Reach out to these people and let them know that God hears their prayers and cares for them deeply.
  • Lend a shoulder to that girl who's crying at your school who you've never spoken to or be a friend to the kid who none likes!
  • Share the love of God with people that bully you & seek God concerning how to do this
You could pull the bully aside in private and talk to them one on one, or message them privately on a social website like Facebook, twitter, or kik If it's a group of people- talk to the dictator- the person who everyone appears to be following- privately when no one is around.

If you have any other ideas- Go and put them into action and share them with us so we can be inspired!!!
